Recently our team at the MATSA Copper Operations celebrated the closing ceremony of the SosTerra Lab. This program is a MATSA community initiative, in collaboration with regional and local administrations, which provides professional training and support to individuals who are looking to develop entrepreneurial business ideas to support the revitalisation and ongoing development of the local Huelva province.
Some of these initiatives which were celebrated as part of the closing ceremony included the development a ‘bubble hotel’ which is built in the middle of a forest, a line of sustainable food and personal care products, a consultant specialising in equality and coeducation, a rural art developer, a speciality coffee roaster and a goat livestock project.
These projects will have a positive impact on the general wellbeing, economic prosperity and employment opportunities available within Huelva.
