Meet Keitumetse,
Keitumetse is a Senior Mine Geologist at our Motheo Copper Project in Botswana.
Responsible for the set-up of grade control systems and procedures, Keitumetse supports the Geology team in the production of resource and reserve statements, management of Mine Geology functions and the training and mentoring of Mine Geologists and Geotechnicians.
Keitumetse says that working at our Motheo Copper Project provides her with the opportunity to work on a project from its initial development and construction phase, through to the project’s operating phase.
“I have the opportunity to set up systems which will ensure quality ore is delivered to the process plant, supporting the mine’s overall profitability. Further, my work also contributes to proving the economic feasibility of the Kalahari Copper Belt!”
Outside of work, Keitumetse enjoys cross-fitness exercise, farming and travelling.
