Meet Danilo,
Danilo is a Mining Engineer at Sandfire MATSA, and he is passionate about optimising underground mining operations.
Danilo has more than 10 years of industry experience. He holds a specialisation in Project Management and master’s degree in Mine Planning, making Danilo a valued member of the team.
Throughout his career, Danilo has focused on providing excellence in all areas of his work. Danilo joined the team at MATSA in 2022 as Senior Long-Term Planning Engineer, and contributed to the Planning Department’s capacity to increase ore reserves and create optimisations in the mining sequence in recent years.
“Joining the MATSA team has been an incredible experience” Danilo said.
“Thanks to the efforts of my colleagues in the Planning Department and our hard work together, we’ve been able to increase our ore reserves and come up with some great optimisations in the mining sequence [at MATSA].”
In his spare time, Danilo enjoys travelling and loves to experience new places and cultures. Danilo also enjoys spending time with his wife and his labrador retriever, Pipo. What Danilo loves most about Spain is its people.
“I am delighted to be part of this wonderful community,” Danilo said.
