Meet Mosamarea,
Mosamarea is a Graduate Geologist at Sandfire’s Motheo Operations. As part of her role, Mosamarea collects and interprets grade control data, which is used in the development of models that calculate the tonnage and grade of ore.
Since joining Sandfire in 2023, Mosamarea says she has gained valuable experience and insight into the life cycle of a mine, from exploration to producing final concentrate.
Mosamarea says working with the @Sandfire Motheo Team has also helped to develop her communication and collaboration skills.
Outside of work, Mosamarea enjoys crafting and DIY, and lends her skills to the Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) as a math and science tutor.
