Meet Unoda, Operations Leading Hand at Sandfire Motheo, who says it is the women at Sandfire who inspire and motivate her.

Unoda started her career in Mining as a Maintainer Operator at the Debswana Diamond Company, which provided her with the technical experience she needed to understand Plant processes and ensure efficiency within the operations.
Since joining Sandfire, Unoda has been promoted to Operations Leading Hand, which has provided her with valuable experience in leadership, decision-making, and management.
“Sandfire has provided me with opportunities to enhance my abilities in process optimisation, safety management, and operational efficiency,” Unoda said.
“Looking ahead, I aim to continue developing my leadership skills, contribute to operational excellence, and mentor others who aspire to grow in the mining industry.”
